Air Fryer Salmon Bites
Jun 27, 2024Happy Friday!
I have been all about the air fryer lately and have also been loving salmon too! This salmon recipe is SO easy and delicious as a rice or poke type bowl.
Don't worry though, if you don't have an air fryer (or don't like salmon) you can make your own variation of this in the oven, and could sub the salmon for chicken or tofu. Both are also delicious!!
- 1lb salmon (or sub for other preferred protein option such as chicken or tofu)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic or 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- Chop the salmon filet into bite sized pieces. *You can remove the skin if you’d like or keep it on for extra crispy bites.
- Combine all the marinade ingredients in a small bowl.
- Transfer salmon to a sealable container and add the marinade. Mix well and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 400F.
- Spray air fryer with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
- Add the salmon in a single layer and cook for 8-12 minutes or until the outside is crispy. Check interal temp and ensure its at a minimum of 145F.
- Serve with your preferred sides such as rice, edamame beans, cucumber, kimchi, avocado, or salad.
If you don't have an air fryer you can make these in the oven too! I would recommend baking at 425F for 10-15 minutes. Check internal temp and ensure it reaches minimum of 145F.
