Pineapple Mango Smoothie

It's supposed to be HOT this weekend and what better way to cool down than with this hydrating and summery AF smoothie!

Pineapple and mango just feel like the perfect combination for a beach day and the addition of coconut water helps to keep you hydrating with it's naturally occurring electrolytes too.

Hydrating Summer Smoothie
(makes 1 smoothie)
 
Ingredients:
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • ⅓ cup frozen mango
  • 1-1.5 cup coconut water (no added sugar)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1-2 cubes* frozen coconut milk (or ¼ cup coconut milk)
  • 2 tbsp hemp seed hearts
 
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. 
 
Notes:
  1. You may need to add more or less coconut water depending on how you like your smoothie.
  2. I like to freeze coconut milk in a silicone ice cube tray and pop 1-2 of those into my smoothies.
  3. Add less water (and maybe even a little greek yogurt) to make this into a smoothie bowl instead.
